• Proof of registration with SACE;
• A Clearance Certificate in terms of the Sexual Offenders’ Register;
• A suitable professional qualification from a recognised institution and appropriate educational experience; • The ability and experience of teaching Grade 8 – 12;
• The willingness and ability to work as part of a dynamic team and to ensure that the academic standard in the department remains at a high standard;
• Previous experience in an IEB school is an advantage;
• A willingness to fully participate in opportunities for professional growth and mentorship;
• The ability to deliver impactful, real-world, and enquiry-based lessons that inspire a love for Business Studies in young people;
• Innovative ideas, the flexibility to embrace changes in education, integrating technology into your teaching methods and a thorough understanding of the South African curriculum;
• A willingness to embrace the ethos, values and mission of the College; and
• A willingness to lead and participate in the co-curricular activities of the College.
