Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Remote and on-support, inclusive of all aspects encompassing what is required to provide what is classified as front-office support as required to maintain a functional and working technology landscape within our customers sites.
Microsoft operating system and application support (Microsoft Suite and Windows 7 and 10)
Router setup and provisioning (Zhone / Mikrotik)
Access point setup and provisioning (Ubiquity)
Customer transmission router maintenance (Software updates / fault logging / AP additions, etc.)
FTTH node circuit provisioning/patching for end users activations.
End User Device Support (Notebooks, Mobile Devices, Printers, Tables, Thin Clients, Desktops, etc.)
Network Operations Centre Monitoring including event log investigation, Customer reporting resolution and where required escalation of incidents where applicable.
Assistance with HP / Backup Applications, Sophos / Trend or any other Anti-Virus Deployment / Support required from time to time.
Basic LAN and WAN support
Site Audits as may be required for new customers or existing customers, or for the fulfilment of Software Audits.
Tools such as BelArc and documenting standards will be provided to you.
Complete technical certification training across the product and solution landscape which operates within, this includes HPE / Dell / Sophos / Microsoft and any other platform as may form part of your portfolio.
