·           Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy

·           Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams

·           Determine key supply chain KPIs

·           Suggest solutions for process improvements

·           Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner

·           Provide constructive feedback

·           Work with Finance, Sales, and Operations Teams to determine best vendors and distributors

·           Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

·           Determine and implement minimum and maximum stock holding levels throughout the organisation and ensure adherence to these levels

·           Ensure maximum efficiencies by developing a Just In Time (JIT) workflow system for materials to each production facility

·           Analyse and develop stock flow patterns to ensure minimum stock holding on material to improve cash flow cycles

·           Have a sound relationship with the sales team to allow for free flow of information regarding large projects to ensure continuation of material flow

·           Ensure maximization of logistics routes between production facilities and sales hubs to allow for lowest possible cost of delivery per ton

Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for a minimum of at least 5 years

·           Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.)

·           Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company’s success

·           Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·           BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field
