Duties & Responsibilities
SUPERVISOR (Staircases/Flooring):
Supports management through performing daily operations, supervising, motivating and keeping discipline of the work team to achieve production demands. The Supervisor must ensure that reinforcing is fixed and placed and that staircase molds are casted in accordance with Engineers design.
Duties:
1. Monitor the assembly of staircase reinforcing.
2. Directs workers in adjusting equipment to repair batches which fail to meet standards.
3. Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
4. Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
5. Interprets specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
6. Plans flow of concrete through staircase molds and physical layout according to work orders.
7. Ensure neat and tidy storage of staircase reinforcing
8. Ensure production targets are met.
9. Support initiative to ensure minimal waste during production.
10. Arrange repairs of equipment as required
11. Assist in the investigation of factory problems, incidents, accidents and unusual events and provide analysis and recommendations reports.
12. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
13. Recommends, improved production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
14. Establishes or adjusts work schedule to meet production schedules.
15. Monitor staff work habits and make sure tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
16. Prepare adequately and participate actively and constructively in meetings
17. Proactively provide advice leading to improvement or resolution of problem areas identified
18. Understand and live the values of the team
19. Create consultative conditions and build relationships so that advice is sought
