Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly sales and Finished Good stock analysis
- Develop KANBAN systems
- Conduct Inventory reviews and place daily Finished Good stock orders
- Send out daily updates of Finished Good stock levels
- Communicate with the Poduction team, customer care and the Finished Goods Stock Controller on dispatch related issues and requirements
- Allocate stock into virtual warehouses for the effective management of sales orders
- Maintain effective and clear communication with freight service providers and Sales Reps
- Keep record and generate graphs to visualize Finished Good stock holding efficiency and dispatch delays
- Generate reports of PPE and consumable usage
- Generate reports of factory downtime caused by shortages
- Work on supply chain process improvements
- Manage KAIZEN projects
- Attend daily team meetings
- Execute industry standard policies related to quality, safety and process improvements
- Work together with supply chain team on KAIZEN projects
- Assist with monthly stock take
- Management of staff in the Stores (receiving and dispatch)
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Computer Literate: MS Excel, MS Outlook, Pastel, Syspro or similar
- Product and process knowledge
- Analytical skills
- Project management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Leadership experience / staff management experience
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Willingness to work overtime
- Team player mindset
- Matric
- Forklift licence
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory, etc
