Description

A Multinational leading ISP with large scale national network, is looking for a Stock & Facilities Manager experienced in inventory/stock controlling and be able to manage the fleet daily.

Stock Controller responsibilities include Tracking shipments, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining weekly reports and costing, delegation of stock and equipment to technical teams as per site requirements. The successful applicant should be familiar with all stock required to complete fibre installations and reticulation and have good communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams and management.

A thorough understanding of warehouse procedures is essential, including storing goods and dispatching orders. The Stock and Facilities Manager should also be familiar with safety processes and regulations.

Facilities/Fleet Manager responsibilities include weekly checks of each vehicle assigned to technical teams or general staff, assessing and maintaining vehicle condition and making sure all repairs and services are completed correctly where required. Ultimately, you will increase profitability and effectiveness by maintaining optimal stock levels at all times whilst making sure that all company vehicles are in 100% working order.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
  • Develop and maintain a stock keeping system
  • Providing monthly stock reports
  • Assisting with annual audits
  • Regulating daily stock check-in and checkout procedures
  • Engage with various managers regards requirements
  • Supply weekly spreadsheets of stock sold to partners
  • Assisting with purchase details and vendors information, invoices, and pricing for internal databases
  • Place orders to replenish stock as needed
  • Tracking shipments and updating management on expected delivery dates
  • Oversee storage of all equipment and stock, particularly expensive and critical equipment
  • Evaluate suppliers and negotiate profitable deals
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and internal teams to ensure proper storage and distribution processes are followed
  • Keep updated inventory records
  • Ensure purchases do not exceed the budget
  • Monitor and report on transportation cost
  • Report maintenance and repair needs for vehicles and equipment
  • Assist health and safety with regular safety audits on all equipment & facilities
  • Managing internal fleet of technical vehicles
  • Coordinate regular stock and vehicle audits
  • Keep organised records of vehicles, schedules and complete orders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislations
  • Stay up-to-date with safety regulations
  • Ensure all drivers are adhering to the Vehicle Usage Policy
  • Ensure all vehicles have the correct registration and license documents
  • Report issues relating to vehicle use to senior management
  • Audit repair and maintenance costs on a quarterly basis and provide management with final reports
  • Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure correct and safe procurement processes are upheld
  • From time to time be prepared to undertake any reasonable requests as requested by Management.
  • Liaising with all clients in a professional manner.
  • Be willing to assist with any new tasks as and when required by the company.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric
  • BSC in Logistics, Business Administration or a relevant field would be advantageous
  • Proven work experience of minimum 5 -10 years as a Stock Controller or similar role
  • Proven Fleet Management experience
  • Must have Drivers licence
  • Good understanding of supply and demand
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software
  • Active participation in inventory audits
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Prioritise multiple tasks to ensure the successful completion
