Description
The Stock Controller ensures the accurate control and capturing of stock movement in and out of the stores /production area. Ensures the company’s and local legislature, policies and procedures are adhered to in respect of general bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurate control and capturing of stock movement in and out of the store and production area.
- Receiving and despatching stock into the company.
- handling stock with due care and no damage occurs during transport process from stores to production area and vice versa,
- Capture of goods received vouchers.
- Ensuring correct counting and recording, stock reconciliation, confirmation with invoice and signed off.
- Stock taking and stock adjustments processes.
- Stock management in line with stock inventory control.
- Keeping the store/warehouse in a clean and safe working condition.
- Any additional tasks as and when required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
2 - 3 years minimum stock control in manufacturing.
Must have matric.
Diploma in Supply Chain/Warehouse Management would be an advantage.
Sage would be an advantage.
Well organised and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
