Description

Duties:

  • Manage reporting duties such as preparing monthly management reports
  • Assist in preparing annual Group Budget
  • Supporting IFRS 17 implementation for management reporting
  • Reviewing of and support of technical working papers that serves as an input to the annual financial statements and integrated reports
  • Technical project involvement that could include all aspects of project management

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Honours in BCom Accounting
  • CA(SA)

Experience:

  • Completed articles
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in an accounting/financial environment
  • Relevant experience in the insurance/financial industry
  • Experience using financial reporting systems
  • Management/SAP is advantageous
  • Expert knowledge relating to the insurance industry: being able to understand technical and/or professional aspects of work and continually maintains the technical knowledge (eg. IFRS)
