Description
Duties:
- Manage reporting duties such as preparing monthly management reports
- Assist in preparing annual Group Budget
- Supporting IFRS 17 implementation for management reporting
- Reviewing of and support of technical working papers that serves as an input to the annual financial statements and integrated reports
- Technical project involvement that could include all aspects of project management
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Honours in BCom Accounting
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed articles
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in an accounting/financial environment
- Relevant experience in the insurance/financial industry
- Experience using financial reporting systems
- Management/SAP is advantageous
- Expert knowledge relating to the insurance industry: being able to understand technical and/or professional aspects of work and continually maintains the technical knowledge (eg. IFRS)
