Description
An exiting new opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer based at the Corporate Office in Sabie.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of systems for usage in a forestry and manufacturing environment; optimization using process algorithm analysis and documentation; software development for mobile applications for infield data capturing as well as front end web development.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Specific requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Development or Information Technology
- Relevant Microsoft Certification will be an advantage e.g. MCSE: Data Management and Analytics, MCSD: Universal Windows Platform, etc.
- At least 2-3 years experience as a professional software developer.
- 3 years HTML, CSS, JavaScript development experience.
- 2 years developing web application experience.
- 3 years C#, SQL Server experience.
Technical knowledge and skills:
- Proficient Knowledge: Microsoft .NET framework, Java, ASP.NET (comfortable with API’s & IIS), jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML and MS SQL Server.
- MS Dynamics programming experience will be advantageous.
- Understanding of Agile Development Methodology (Scrum) .
- Experience with Visual Studio / TFS / Git or similar version control system.
- Experience with Android Studio and Android development.
- Working knowledge of data analytics such as Power BI, SQL Analytic Server or similar technologies.
