Job Description

Together with the current developers (outsourced) the company is looking to transition the responsibility for the continued software maintenance and future development to a new development team. Starting with a developer who has a vision for growth and development.

Note that the position does not have to be PE based even though the company is!

Qualifications

Essential: • Server-side Java with good understanding of object-orientation, session management, reflection and multi-threading. • JSP, Javascript and Ajax on the client side. Important: • Struts • Postgres / Postgis • OpenLayers • GeoServer • SOAP (using Axis2) and REST • XML (using jdom).

Skills

Must be capable of leading a team in the future. Nice to have: • Tomcat • Linux • Java Libraries – iText, JavaMail, Lucene, Geotools, POI
