RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE:

• Highly passionate Senior Front-end developer
• Take a lead role and work with latest technologies and trends, i.e. Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud computing and Autonomous Transportation Systems (Robots).
• Experience with custom interactive maps or real-time geolocation tracking web systems.
• Design and develop production ready business applications within an already existing team of 25+ developers located in Munich (Germany) and South Africa.
• Write and maintain test (e.g. unit tests, postman tests) cases to keep up test coverage
• Take part in regular Scrum meetings via Skype. Daily, Planning,   Estimation, Refinement, Review, Retro
• Liaise with stakeholders and team members
• Present results to stakeholders
• Creation and updating of documents with regards to all system changes

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years experience
• Degree in IT or relevant experience
• Additional certification from example Pluralsight an added advantage
• South African citizens only
• Willing and able to travel 3 times a year for up to 2 weeks to Munich (Germany)

Required skills:

•             At least 6 years' worth of experience using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS

•             Proficiency in Angular framework (Version 9 or higher).

•             Experience with testing tools like Cypress, Karma, Jasmine, Postman or Selenium

•             Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools

•             Experience of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum

•             Experience in team-based software development

Added advantage:

•             Experience with 2D Rendering frameworks e.g. PixiJS is a big plus

•             Experience with map frameworks or real-time geolocation tracking is a big plus

•             Experience in UI/UX

•             Experience with Jira and Confluence

•             Experience with REST, Docker

•             Experience with Mobile Application Development
