A magical Farm situated in Paarl is seeking to appoint a passionate Snr Chef to join their culinary team.
Requirements
- A culinary degree
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Senior Chef
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Willing to work hospitality shifts
Responsibilities
- Manages day to day operations so they are consistently delivered to the highest standards of compliance, efficiency and quality.
- Achieve budget targets regarding sales and costs
- Training, development and retention of all staff
- Health, safety and hygiene
- Implementation of innovative ideas that was agreed upon by Executive and Head Chefs
- Implement advanced product knowledge of what is in season and share with restaurant guests
- Innovation on a daily basis in connection with food, service methods and all other aspects of the kitchen
- Constant improving and optimising of current service flow and standard of food, working with the head and Executive Chef to implement
- Create dishes at our popular Italian- and Meat evenings
