Description
DAYBREAK FARMS requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned vacant position.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Plant Production Manager.
• Manage Shift Team Leaders and Process Controllers.
• Ensure that all Replacers are trained and have done medics at the clinic before they start working.
• Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are adhered to at all time.
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to Health and Safety procedures.
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets.
• Overseeing the manufacturing activities taking place in the plant.
• Ensure that production targets are met.
• Ensure efficient collaboration between production, procurement, distribution, maintenance, quality assurance and farm department.
• Be able to motivate a team.
• Maintain daily production duties.
• Recommend training needed for the team
• Always adhere to processing, quality, health and safety standards
• Completing all or any general work given by superiors.
• Following all instructions given to you.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12
• PME & PMI and other Production Tertiary Qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in managing Production team
• People management skills
• Good interpersonal skills
