Join an international Agricultural organization that collaborates with producers (Farmers) on their respective unique journeys towards farming as effectively as possible as a senior Data Scientist. The Data Scientist will be based at the company head office in Wellington (Cape Town).

A Leading business in the Agricultural that operates throughout selected international markets, is looking to expand
their team with a suitably qualified and experienced Data Scientist, looking for an opportunity to become part of this leading company and all it has to offer.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Building innovative solutions and products through existing and new data sources.
- Linking potential revenue streams to new products built.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve data quality and speed up delivery.
- Troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Transform data for the purpose of model building and analyses.
- Identify new opportunities for data driven business in data science and analytics.
- Respond to immediate needs and pull ad hoc data sets requests.
Education:
- Grade 12
- Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or equivalent
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in the data science and analysis field
- Proven track record of successful models/products
- Proficient in Python, R and associated database technologies
Candidates must reside in the Cape Town area (Wellington) - or be willing to relocate.
