Description
Leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Professionally Registered Electrical Engineer with experience in Electrical Building Services (particularly in Healthcare or Data Centre projects) to join their Team in either their Cape Town, JHB or DBN offices.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for interpreting the client brief and developing designs at all stages from scheme through to detail.
- Managing of colleagues in the production and refinement of designs to ensure highest quality product for clients.
- Managing and monitoring resources to deliver the agreed commercial performance on projects.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc or BTech Electrical Engineering degree
- Professionally Registered with ECSA
- 8 plus years experience with experience gained in Electrical Building Services Systems
- Experienced in leading Healthcare or Data Centre projects
- Proven record of developing concept schemes and detailed designs
- Proven experience in science and laboratory facility design and good knowledge of standards and best practice, including a varied portfolio of medium to large scale completed projects with experience across the range of project scales and building types.
- Experience of Revit MEP and 3D modelling and rendering of building servics and BIM analysis including performance calculations and parametric modelling (an advantage)
- Knowledge and experience in business development (an advantage)
