A renowned insurance company who provides short-term insurance as well as life insurance to their customers is looking for a Senior Audit in Data Analytics to join their team. This role has a high focus on data analytics.
JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the internal audit methodology and a risk-based audit approach when performing start to end internal audit/IT audit duties. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing the data analytics audit program, conducting data analytics fieldwork, and developing data analytics scripts.
EDUCATION
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- BCom/BSc Honors degree in IT/Information Systems/Financial Information Systems
- CISA
JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in audit
- At least 3 years’ experience in data analytics
- Experience in the financial services/insurance is preferred
- Ability to script using analytical tools such as IDEA, ACL
- Experience with SQL would be preferred
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Strong business acumen
- Understanding of IT, data and privacy related legislation and regulation
