Description
We are looking for competent Security Officers to undertake the surveillance of premises and protection of client's assets. The succesful incumbent will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behaviour and preventing vandalism, theft or other criminal behaviour. The main aim is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our client's facilities same and problem free.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Monitor and authorise entrance and exit of vehicles to people on the property.
- Escort unwelcome persons from the clients property.
- Investigate suspicious incidents and security breaches.
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
- Check surveillance camera's periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
- Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of the authorities.
- Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12
Valid Grade C PSIRA certificate
Minimum 2 years relevant security experience
Computer literate in MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reside in the Wadeville / Katlehong / Germiston area or surrounds
