Duties & Responsibilities
Position is based in Okahandja, Namibia reporting to the Sales Manager
Overall responsibility of the position:
Within the overall strategic objective of the company, the Sales Representative will:
• Acquiring new business
• Implement sales strategies aligned to meet sales targets
• Maintaining excellence in customer relations
• Cold Call and generate leads
• Be responsible for the full sales of the Namibia branch against budgeted target margin
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales, customers and new business
• Excellent Product Knowledge
• Effective customer service skills
• Expert knowledge of sales territories and how to attract business
• Analysis of market trends and cold call potential customers
• Generate Sales Leads
• Understand pricing, quotations and be able to generate such
• Prepare reports and sales statics
• Drafting of sales procedures
• Sales Administration thereof
• Must be dynamic and a people’s person
• Handle difficult customers
• Be sales and customer orientated
• Ability to achieve a marginal target
Strong communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to sell and maintain sales business
• advanced selling skills
• Great negotiator
• Know the Namibia market
• Have the ability to knock on doors and call on customers to buy the product
• Have a proven sales track record
• Building industry knowledge will be preferred
