Description
Sales Representative required by client in the engineering and industrial tooling and equipment sector. Will be required to maintain relationships with clients in Witbank and surrounding areas
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete and maintain all sales and customer documentation accurately
- Engage with key decision makers through face to face cold calling, prospecting and new business development
- Territory management
- Consult with customers in order to understand their business needs and provide suitable solutions
- Inventory management
- Competitor analysis - differentiate the quality between company products and services from competitor products
- Prepare quotations
- Negotiate pricing and lead times with customers
- Assist in new product development by offering advice, relaying trends or demand, and promote new products to customers
- Develop market plans to generate revenue
- Proactively sell and promote core products and services
- Increase sales profitably within each key account customer
- Coordinate order processing, ensure product availability, and ensure on-time deliveries
- Achievement of set sales targets
- Ensure that all key account customers are serviced according to predetermined schedules
- Update customer information
- Prepare sales reports
- Territory development through networking and cold calls
- Payment collections and credit control
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience selling industrial tooling advantageous
- Willing to travel
