The company manufactures genuine Shatterprufe® laminated windscreens and Armourplate® toughened automotive safety glass products. Three automotive glass plants manufacture over 4 million pieces of laminated and toughened glass a year for customers worldwide. Shatterprufe® products are installed by Original Motor manufacturers in Southern Africa.
A position has become available for a Sales Office Manager to join our dynamic team.
Main job purpose
To plan, execute and manage all activities and resources for the Telesales Team, Buyouts Teams and switchboard to ensure that excellent customer service is provided, through the effective execution of duties resulting in, the achievement of all targets, improved efficiencies and overall customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To ensure staff are effectively managed and held accountable through performance and disciplinary procedures, and that staff are developed and mentored through the talent management and IDP processes to drive capability in business.
- To ensure that sales targets and profitability margins are achieved to support ARG budget and business plan.
- To drive excellent customer service and relationship management through building effective relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction, to drive future business.
- To optimally manage stock conversion and availability to ensure minimal buyouts and promotion of Shatterprufe parts to support ARG business plan.
- To ensure accurate and timeous financial and other reporting to ensure business is able to manage decision-making and identifying risks and opportunities to business/budget.
- To drive improved marketing and branding opportunities through analysis of data and trends to ensure Shatterprufe ARG brand is promoted and to identify new business opportunities in the market.
- To drive departmental efficiency improvements by identifying best practices and recommendations to support business and Sales to ensure business sustainability.
- To ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business.
Critical job requirements
Qualification(s)
- Grade 12
- BCom degree in Sales and Marketing Management.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the automotive industry.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Knowledge of the CPA (Consumer Protection Act.)
- Knowledge of telesales best practices.
