With branches nationwide and a comprehensive distribution network throughout neighbouring countries, our client is now looking for a Risk Controller to ensure all requirements are delivered on within record time.

Main Job Function:
 Tracking of all Linehaul vehicles & calling drivers on cells as per SOP.

 Capturing vehicle position data on TBS and escalating any expectation picked up.

 Liaising with Linehaul Ops Controllers regarding planning, delays etc.

 Sending client updates as per scheduled intervals.

 Issuing and managing (recons) of vehicles keys, toll cards and equipment on register.

 Debriefing of drivers - ensuring all required documentation is handed in.

 Give assistance to Risk Controller in case of Linehaul accidents

 Reporting mechanical/ tyre breakdowns and other relevant incidents to Control Centre.

 Assisting drivers with completion of accident claims forms.

 Keep the senior controller / manager fully informed of all breakdowns/accidents

 Any other reasonable taskings and instructions as and when they arise relating to Linehaul and Risk operations

Candidate Profile:
 Grade 12 / Matric would be an advantage

 Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics environment

 Computer literate – Microsoft office, Excel

 Understanding and awareness of logistical operational procedures, policies and the process

 Weekend, public holidays and shift work compulsory
