Description
My client has a vacancy for an experienced Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for the general oversight of the store. The incumbent will ensure the positive representation of the brand in the market, instilling the culture of the business in employees and maintaining high international standards to ensure customer satisfaction (overall dining experience.)
The key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Human resources and people management
- Training and development
- Health and safety
- Quality and hygiene
- Sales
- General operations
- Financial (costs and profit)
- Administration and reporting
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (this is non-negotiable) – food, hospitality or business related
- 8 years overall experience with a minimum of 2 years at senior management level
- Proven experience in accountability in operations, people management, finance (sales, cost, profit)
- Valid South African driver’s license with own reliable vehicle
- Willing and able to work 48 hours a week
- No bad debt, no criminal record and valid employment references (will be checked)
- Highly computer literate – Microsoft Office as well as restaurant management systems e.g. POS
- Very well presented, energetic, ambitious with an excellent work ethic
