Description
Our client, a Property Company who owns, develops and manages a mixed portfolio are looking for a vibrant, energetic, enthusiastic Property Manager.
The Property Manager should attend to all aspects of administrative, financial and operational activities arising in respect of the properties under management. This includes liaising with tenants, service providers, contractors and property owners, the preparation of lease offers & lease agreements, capturing of property, tenant & lease details on the Company’s property management system (‘MDA’), debtor and creditor accounts administration (including local authority accounts management), utilities management, the updating of data on MDA, property inspections, service provider selection, procurement & contracting and reactive & proactive property maintenance management.
Job Description
- Residential leasing, preparation of lease offers and lease agreements
- Work on MDA
- Operations, administration, financial reporting
- Debtor and creditor administration
- Queries and reconciliations
- Deal with third parties, council etc
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric, relevant degree in Business management preferable;
- 3 years+ residential or commercial property management experience preferable
- Vibrant / energetic individual
- Driver’s license and own transport is required, as well as a willingness to work outside office hours
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) ability to interact at all levels internally and externally
- Be a team player;
- Organised, efficient and deadline focused;
- Detail oriented with strong focus on accuracy;
- Work independently and are self-motivated;
- It would be preferable if the individual has MDA experience,
