Description
Duties:
- Will be responsible for monthly and annual consolidations including Group closing and consolidations operations, intercompany reconciliation process and quality review of reporting packages
- Accurately, consistent, and timely preparation of IFRS financial statements
- Engagement and Management of internal and external auditors which includes fulfilling audit requirements and monitoring deadlines
- Ad-hoc tasks when required
- Support, implementing and developing of accounting and/or reporting processes, policies, procedures, and systems to strengthen the quality framework and financial knowledge
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (grade 12)
- BCom Honours Accounting
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed articles
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Finance
- Big 4 Audit company background would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the IFRS and experience in supporting subsidiaries with IFRS applications
- Auditing experience with a mining company
Skills & Competencies:
- Must show technical skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedures
- Must be able to work in multi-cultural and remote contracts
- Consolidation and reporting are essential
