Description
Astral is a leading South African integrated poultry producer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stock taking;
- Raw material and finished goods bin dipping;
- Sampling and inspection;
- Forklift operation;
- Operating PLC system to produce quality feed;
- Operating of pellet machines, boiler and maize grinder;
- Weighing and adding of micro medication;
- Hand additions of raw materials;
- Other general production duties as required;
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A matric or equivalent qualification;
- Relevant work experience in a production environment;
- Knowledge of an animal feed manufacturing plant would be an advantage;
- Be quality driven, responsible and diligent;
- Computer literacy;
- Basic mechanical hand skills;
- Valid forklift licence;
- A willingness to learn and advance skills in a multi-skilled environment;
- Converse fluently in English and Afrikaans;
- Personal and professional integrity.
