Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
Duties:
- Overall project coordination, project management & client liaison on key projects.
- Assist with residential and VIP projects.
- Install and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
- Ensure piping complies with electrical codes.
- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
- Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
- Replace conduit and wiring as needed.
- Replace circuit breakers as needed.
- Ensure proper health, safety and quality controls are followed.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
- Gain experience and provide support within the renewable energy field (PV mainly).
- You will be required to issue certificates of compliance
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Trade Test Electrician
- Wireman's License
- N6/N5/N4 Electrical Engineering
Skills
- 3+ years experience as an Installation Electrician
- MS Office packages
- Good report writing skills
