Main job function
Responsible for ensuring that all custom software developed by the agencies to meet Companies high quality standards.
- Installation, setup and maintenance of virtual testing environments
- Write and adhere to test plans and test cases from functional specifications and from using the product
- Perform black box and user interface testing on all software developed by the development pods
- Ensure that the software conforms to the specified requirements
- Use internal bug tracking and test case management system to record bugs
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that all issues understood and are resolved
- Provide regular status updates to the Testing team lead, Integration Developers, Integration Manager and Project Managers
- Participates in design sessions to comprehend the business requirement and solution to be delivered
- Ensure that the projects conforms to requirements, specifications, and other documentation
- Write test plans and test cases from functional specifications and from using the product
- Generate reports and provide regular status updates to Project Manager
- Ensure projects confirm to basic HTML/Web Standards
- Contribute to test group processes and standards

Experience/Criteria
- Web and Back-end Testing experience
- Knowledge of standard test practices
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to meet schedule deadlines
- Strong prioritizing, planning and organization skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- General technical knowledge beneficial (OS setup, databases etc)
- Basic scripting skills beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric focus
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Minimum of 1-2years experience as a tester/project quality assurer
- Experience writing test plans and test cases
- Experience writing project documentation
