My client based in Pinetown a manufacturer of safes seeks a QA

• Assist in establishing and developing the receiving inspection processes;
• Ensure that all procured parts received are delivered with the correct documentation and processed in accordance with QMS requirements;
• Inspect packaging and parts for physical damage and ensure all damages are recorded and reported;
• Verify quality control standards through visual and dimensional inspection for acceptance of incoming goods as prescribed by official drawings/technical specifications, samples and purchase order details;
• Liaise with engineers, quality and production staff on inspection criteria where necessary;
• Highlight any non-conformances or omission without undue delay and assist with handling of all non-conformances identified within the production and stores environment.
• Record QA data in accordance with the QMS requirements;
• Provide support to the QA Manager in regards to general QMS processes and projects, as and when required;
• Interact with various departments to achieve company and organizational objectives; and
• Assist with storage of material as per quality standards, FIFO and manufacturer guidelines

• Mechanical tertiary qualification preferable;
• Competence in reading mechanical, technical drawings and specifications;
• Preferably 5 years’ experience in a similar (QA) role
• Must be in good health and physically fit
•             Basic knowledge of electronic components advantageous
