We are looking for a hardworking, ambitious, energetic and self-driven project manager with a proven track record of experience in managing projects for the implementation of business software. Duties & Responsibilities
Our project managers collaborate closely with our business solutions teams and are typically responsible for managing and coordinating project deliverables throughout the project life cycle within the EPM environment.
More specifically the successful candidate will be reponsible for:
- Customer Account Management
- Manage customers and achieve a good customer satisfaction rating
- Meet with customers on a regular basis
- Identify and manage new opportunities with the customer base
- Project management
- Manage projects using Parity Software’s internal project methodology
- Develop project plans using Microsoft Project
- Manage and allocate resourcing
- Manage risk, profitability and delivery on projects
- Conduct post implementation reviews (Post-Mortem)
- Software Development Cycle
- Assist with design of third party applications
- Assist in development manuals
- Assist in development of training materials
- Assist in development of test packs
- Pre Sales
- Assist in the scoping / diagnostic phases
- Develop proposals
- Requirements analysis
- Building project plans, assessing costs and resource availability
- Working with subject matter experts to assess time and delivery
- Project Cycle Management
- Maintaining and update Project Plan and progress
- Coordinating resources on projects
- Communicating project progress, status and risk to project and business stakeholders
- Project scope management and change control management
- Project Governance
- User acceptance documents
- Sign-off documentation
Desired Experience & Qualification
We are looking for a project manager with a minimum of 2 years experience in the business software consulting environment (ERP).
A tertiary qualification in project management would be preferred.
The successful candidate will be someone with a strong drive for results and success and a willingness to see tough tasks through to successful completion, especially under the pressure of tight deadlines.
A strong interest in software and consulting would be an advantage.
