Description
A Non Profit Organisation, in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Programme Manager.
The Program Manger will report to the Director.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Social work qualification
- 6 years management experience
- Leadership and organisational skills (team management, conflict resolution)
Responsibilities:
Manage the professional Team:
- Social Work Supervision
- Multi-disciplinary team management
- Childcare worker supervision (empowering campus supervisor to take on this responsibility)
- Nurse support
- Performance management and assessments
Stakeholder Management:
- Department of Social Development reports, subsidy, meetings and engagements
- Develop and maintain good relations with stakeholders involved in for childcare programs
- Volunteers
- Partnership networks
Therapy Program Management:
- Recruitment, monitoring and evaluation of therapists for program
- Manage and control related expenses
- Disciplinary and behavioural management panels
Developmental / Educational Program Management:
- Interactions with schools (principals)
- Tutor program co-ordination
- Supervise program assistant (activities, recreation, volunteers)
General Tasks:
- Health and safety
- Monthly reports
- Independent living program
- Advocacy for children
- Assistant to director
