Duties & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:
To be responsible and accountable for all communication between the site, students and lecturers for a specific programme, lecturing approximately 15hrs a week, creating a culture where students value diversity and have high ethical values. Candidates must have an understanding of the current South African Higher Education regulatory framework and its impact on higher education and private colleges
Key Performance Area:
- Lecturing approximately 10hrs a week
- Lecturer Support
- Student support
- Coordinate Teaching Experience sessions and track academic progress and submission of portfolios of evidence
- Programme Development & Review
- Provide academic module feedback and collate per programme;
- Analyse all assessment feedback and plan improvement interventions
- Analyse and interpret survey results and follow-up with relevant individuals
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education:
Minimum:
- B.Ed Honours
Work Experience:
- 3 - 5 years Higher Education Teaching experience or Foundation Phase Teaching experience
Competencies
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Open to development on a range of skills and procedures
