To assist with the provision of quality health care according to professional standards
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that relevant information is provided to clients for them to make informed decisions.
- Prepare for theatre slates.
- Work harmoniously as a team member.
- Have flexibility between scrubbing and circulating to assist with anaesthesia as well as recovery.
- Be available for standby for seven days and willing to cover unit when theatre lists go over scheduled working time.
- Have own transport when on standby.
- Prevent the spread of communicable diseases and medical hazards at all costs.
- Provide quality emergency health care to avoid complications.
- Conduct sound assessments to enable proper diagnoses, treatment and referrals.
- Ensure that Health and Professional regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain proper record keeping, safety and the well-being of health care workers.
- Ensure effective supervision of subordinates
