Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
- Lead the team to meet mission, vision and values of the Company.
- Lead the team to meet and/or exceed the daily/weekly QSCM targets.
- Creates an empowered team which makes decisions and solves problems (suggestions and continuous improvement).
- Ensure FIFO.
- Demands improved service from suppliers.
- Looks for ways to improve service to customers and knows customer rating.
- Maintain and manage health, safety, environmental and ergonomic standards.
- Provide on the job training to subordinates.
- Management of subordinates (attendance, absence control, discipline).
Requirements:
- NQF 4 (Minimum)
- 2 years’ leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A working knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System
- Problem solving techniques / Analytical
- Ability to manage people
- Basic administrative skills
- Personal attributes: confident, good communication skills, motivated, resilient, results driven
