Requirements
- Minimum matric and /or related tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position in a production related role within food manufacturing environment
- Food safety training (e.g. FSSC 22000 and HACCP training) is a prerequisite
Scope of the role
- This position carries shared responsibility for food safe, in-spec & efficient production activities in designated sections of the Fruit Process plant, with strict adherence to the company's Core Values.
- A Production Supervisor may be designated to any one section, or required to cover responsibilities of more than one section, at any given time, depending on staff availability & production needs.
- Additionally, due to changing company needs throughout any given year, a Fruit Process based Production Supervisor may be designated to work in any of the company's other production plants, areas of operations, or with maintenance activities.
- He/she may be required to work shifts on a basis of day or night shift.
