Description
Currently seeking a production supervisor for an award winning automotive manufacturing company.
Duties & Responsibilities
The position will provide a constant presence on the shop floor in the department in order to ensure the following is priorized,
Safety of the team.
The customer is supplied good quality parts on time.
Implementation of Kaizen activities in the process.
Company rules and standards are being adhered to.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Production Technology Learnership NQF 4
Production Management or Operations Diploma
Experience
2 years Team leader or Supervisor experience in the relevant department in the automotive industry
Ability to operate and set machines in the relevant department
Completion of Toolroom orientation program
Completion of Maintenance orientation program
Completion of Quality department orientation program
Ability to complete both Team Leader and Supervisor production reports
Ability to complete production job cards
Knowledge and understanding of recording non-conforming parts and scrap
Ability to work to flexible hours out with availability of public transport
Problem solving skills
Strong IR skills and knowledge
Good verbal and written communication
Updating of visual management boards
