Description
Our clients in the FMCG Industry, a leading food manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Production Manager to successfully plan and execute production activities in a plant
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret Company production plan and break into plant/factory level plan.
- Ensure production plans/schedules are followed and where variances develop, implement a catch-up / corrective action plan.
- Report to the General Manager on all factory outputs.
- Drive improvement and efficiency in all production lines.
- Ensure best operating practices are implemented and continuous improvement embedded within the factory.
- Drive all projects and report to the General Manager on status and risks and management thereof.
- Ensure factory targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure cost reduction activities and budget management and planning.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Must be a holder of Grade 12 Certificate
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering/Operations/Production
- Must have a project management Certificate
- Must have 5 years production/operations management experience within the FMCG OR Manufacturing environment
- Must be Computer literate
