Assumption Convent School, founded in 1946, is owned by the Missionary Sisters of the Assumption and is under the custodianship of the Catholic Schools’ Trust. It is an independent Catholic Girls School, in the heart of Johannesburg and offers affordable yet high-quality holistic Catholic education in a caring and supportive environment. The High School Principal has overall responsibility for the whole school, both Primary and High School. The Primary School Principal is responsible for the Pre-Primary and Primary School, under the authority of the High School Principal.

Assumption Convent School is seeking to appoint a Primary School Principal who is a highly motivated and passionate individual, who lives the ethos of Assumption Convent School. This would include the custodianship of the Catholic identity, ethos, and charism of Assumption Convent School.

• A suitable postgraduate degree in Education and registration with SACE.
• Relevant leadership experience.

• Knowledge and insight into the latest educational developments.
