DAYBREAK FARMS requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned vacant position.

•           Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader.
•           Monitor process and product parameters and report deviations according to protocol.

•            Carry out post-mortem inspection of slaughtered carcasses after de-feathering and after evisceration according to legislative requirements.

•            Live bird intake control when doing meat inspection at first meat inspection point.

•            Maintain personal hygiene requirements and hygiene regulations in work environment.

•            Highlight recurring deviations (trend analysis) and recommend corrective actions to management.

•            Grade 12

•            Certificate in Abattoir Hygiene and Poultry Meat Examination (PME)

•            At least 2 years’ experience

•            Good product knowledge

•            Poultry processing standards
