Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employment Equity: Assisting in preparation and implementation of the employment equity plan, collecting and preparing data required for the employment equity reports submitted by Seesa ;arranging, facilitating and minuting committee meetings where necessary.
  • WSP: Keep updated records of all internal and external staff training, invoices and course information for submission with the Skills Development Plan.
  • Monthly salaries and wages, system maintenance, new reorts, methods, earnings and deductions etc.
  • Monthly / Annual reconciliation and paying over of all statutory and external payments (SARS, E-filing, MIBCO electronic submissions etc.)
  • Process and submit COID (WCA & RMA) info electronically.
  • Maintain up to date employee files, including the management of all HR related issues regarding Salary Proposals, Letters of Employment, New Employment contracts, Leave control, Loans, Personal queries and all related salary and Personnel issues.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Facilitation of timely salary and wage payments, SARS, Garnishee's and all other related payments.
  • Any ad hoc duties as and when required by management

Desired Experience & Qualification

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • Payroll Experience essential
  • Proven understanding of Time and Attendance system
  • Proven experience of MS Office package
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven application of VIP Premier Payroll
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good team player who can also work independently in a tim- sensitive environment with specfic deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Work independently
