Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working both independently and with the team to introduce Edtech solutions and other e-learning technology offerings offered by OneConnect into existing and new accounts
- developing new business opportunities within a professional services firm and/or technology organization, as well as have strong and proven business acumen for leading sales opportunities to successful close to achieve revenue goals.
- Being an expert in leading strategic student success-oriented discussions at the Executive level and adept in understanding and explaining tactical and technical implementation
- Managing the sales cycle from interest to investment
- Crafting a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client needs including developing statements of work and proposals; working independently and in conjunction with colleagues to prepare for presentations and RFPs
- Identify opportunities within the client base and then progress those opportunities to close including developing detailed account plans and strategies for achieving market and individual new sales goals
- Collaborating with other SME/resources/ Learning institutions including Solutions Engineers, Project Managers, and business owners to create effective solutions and new sales revenue
- Creating sustainable in and out quarter pipeline to support year-after-year profitable revenue growth
- Demonstrating strong communication skills including interaction and involvement across multiple departments and with clients
- Actively developing new business opportunities through a range of channels
- Product demonstrations, online and face-to-face
- Sales pipeline and CRM management
- Working closely with the marketing team on new campaigns
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 3+ years of professional experience in Solution/Services Sales Experience or Pre-sales experience
- Highly developed client service and client satisfaction focus
- Experience operating within a fast-paced, multi-disciplined virtual team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Demonstrated core sales skills including prospecting, needs analysis, presentation, negotiation, and proposal writing
- Ability to establish and manage executive-level customer relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of the higher education sector
- Experience selling software solutions/services to corporate clients
- Solution selling at all levels, up to C-level / Decision Makers
- Confident and professional manner, excellent written and communication skills
- Evidence of hitting and exceeding sales targets
