Description
and ISPs. Management of the network covers configuration, capacity and perfromance management. This role includes the design and implementation of extensions to the Netowrk and the introduction of new technologies.
Contract is for 1 month only.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle all layer 2 and layer 3 area or network-wide issues and interconnect issues
- Handle escalated layer 2 and layer 3 fault and performance issues with ISPs and vendors
- Direct engagement with ISP and vendor NOCs and escalation teams
- Disaster recovery co-ordination
- Network performance and capacity management and initiate remedial action where necessary
- Co-ordination of all change management activities
- Provide design and operational escalation support for ISPs
- Provide design and implementation for expansion of the network
