Description
Setshaba Research Centre (SRC) is a South African, Non-Governmental/Non-Profit Organization in the field of clinical and social scientific research. The centre is located in Soshanguve Township, within the City of Tshwane, Gauteng. SRC was founded in 2004 as a medical research centre with the objective of creating value and contributing to the greater good of society.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain an online and social media presence regarding SRC
- Update and improve website
- Source, circulate and post relevant material relating to SRC’s work, studies and publications
- Provide direction and oversight to SRC’s marketing campaigns and public awareness initiatives
- Strategically respond to misinformation
- Draft communications for different media platforms on SRC and studies conducted
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience and Qualifications:
- Media and Communications and/or Public Relations degree or diploma;
- High proficiency in English
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent IT skills
