Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric or National Technical Certificate 3
- Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical (Trade Test)
- Minimum of 2-3 years Supervisory and Management experience
- Knowledge of Boiler making / Pipefitting / Welding Experience required
- Own Transport Essential
- Valid Driver’s License Code 08
- Must be willing to travel
DUTIES:
- Formulate Production Program – Control / Planning
- Achieve targets and ensuring that budgeted guidelines are met
- Schedule work throughout plant / site
- Manage general multi projects
- Liaise with contracts managers daily on updates of the projects
- Liaise with clients
- Order raw materials / components for plant equipment and labour utilization
- Set delivery schedules
- Management of Mechanical Engineering Team
- Adherence to Health and Safety Requirements
- Adherence to ISO Standards
- Adherence to any other instruction as given by the Contracts Manager
