ATHEMATICS TEACHER (GRADES 8 – 12)
COMMENCEMENT DATE: JANUARY 2024
SAHETI School is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, whilst promoting the values and ethos of Hellenism. The school is situated in Bedfordview, Johannesburg.
Applications are invited for an energetic,creative, and innovative Mathematics teacher, who meets the below listed pre-requisites
Responsibilities
- A minimum requirement of a professional Degree in the subject and/or a four (4) year professional teaching qualification
- Teaching experience within the IEB system is essential
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy is imperative
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to identify with the values, culture, and ethos of the School
- Valid SACE, Police clearance, Sexual offenders, and Child protection certificates
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Commitment to subject-related activities
- Will be responsible for all duties required of an academic Teacher
- Incorporating SAHETI values into daily teaching
Experience
- Proven teaching experience in the same or similar position
- Ability to teach Advanced Programme (AP) mathematics and further studies mathematics would be advantageous.
