Description

The Marketing Manager will service multiple UK brands across a variety of sectors by coordinating and assisting  the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Marketing
  • Develop marketing proposals
  • Update all marketing materials
  • Conduct market research
  • Keep up to date with industry’s latest developments, trends, competitors, and promotional opportunities
  1. Media:
  • Ensure consistency of brand representation
  • Actively update and engage on social media platforms on behalf of the Company (ie Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create new media
  • Organise and store company media (photos and videos)
  • Responsible for compiling and editing internal communication (e.g. a monthly newsletter)

 

  1. Administration
  • Prepare and/or assist with quotations and tenders
  • Draft and present relevant reports
  • Organise Company branded promotional and other material
  • Ensure administration work is up to date, including filing and storage of relevant documentation
  1. Leadership:
  • Lead a team when required

Manage and direct external providers and subcontractors

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Related Degree or Diploma

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing
  • Experience with various marketing platforms, channels and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Experience in Facebook and other Social Media advertising
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Proficient in Data Analysis
  • Experience in successfully outsourcing outputs, tasks and projects
  • Experience in managing internal teams, external providers and subcontractors
  • International exposure advantageous

 

Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Excellent design skills (website, presentations, documents)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing
  • Excellent organizational, project management and proof-reading skills
  • Software experience required:
    • MS Office Suite, with excellent PowerPoint skills
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • InDesign
    • Canva

Package & Remuneration

  • 0 to 3 months: R35 000
  • 3 to 6 months: R50 000 (providing the candidate’s performance meets our requirements)
  • From month 7: R55 000 to R60 000 (providing the candidate’s performance meets our requirements)
