What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You will play an integral role in this small and highly driven accounting team. Reporting directly to the down-to-earth CFO (who has a great sense of humour) you will take full responsibility for the management accounting function thereby being responsible for the information needed by the board to best drive the business forward. But not only will you be responsible for the standard day to day management accounting function for the business, you will also get involved in really cool projects with the CFO geared to drive the business forward, thereby having the chance to make a lasting impact on the business.
Where you'll be doing it
You will work at an innovative market disrupter in the property industry, who has shown tremendous growth even during COVID with beautiful offices in the heart of Cape Town (no worries - work from home is very much a thing and flexibility is a real thing even post COVID with a hybrid solution being rolled out). You'll work with a down-to-earth team with a great boss who is really looking for someone to groom into a senior finance role
What you'll need
This position is ideal for a qualified CIMA with a few years of relevant working experience as a management accountant and the drive to learn more and do better (for themselves and for the business)
