Our client, a fruit export Company, based in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape, requires a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Logistics Coordinator.

• Assist traders with shipping options/logistic planning
• Stock allocation
• Load instruction preparation and coordination with forwarders/cold stores/transporters
• Arrange preloading protocol for various markets
• General logistic duties: Labelling, inspections (DALRRD, PPECB, BIVAC, SGS, etc)
• Due Diligence contact and coordinator
• Local retail trading assistance

• At least 3 years’ experience in a logistics environment in the fruit industry
• Relevant qualification will be preferable, but is not a prerequisite
• Hard-working, eager to learn new skills and flexible in taking on new tasks
• Thrives in a pressured environment
• Excellent team player
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken (English & Afrikaans)
