FMCG Wholesaler in Montague Gardens has an opportunity available for a Logistics Administrator (6 month Maternity Contract) who will report to the Logistics Manager
Main purpose of the position:

- Ensure that logistics admin is captured correctly and that the delivery trucks are coordinated
Key responsibilities:
-
- Contact transporters daily
-
- Booking of vehicles from transporters
-
- Requesting rates from transporters
-
- Preparing trip sheets for all regions
-
- Generate a tracking report spreadsheet on excel and updating daily
-
- Calling drivers
-
- Giving updates to the relevant sales team
-
- Resolving any logistics queries
-
- Receiving and matching invoices with PO’s
-
- Checking that POD’s / DN are correct
-
- Communicating with Cold Stores (x3)
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualification and Experience needed:
- Matric
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- General computer literate (at least intermediate level) – Windows, MS Word and MS Excel
- 3 – 5 years relevant experience
- SAP Business one advantageous
- Own transport essential
- Working hours are Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm (hours may fluctuate due to production requirements, weekends and overtime as per operational requirements)
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
