Duties & Responsibilities
Inherent Requirements:
Matric Certificate
Driver’s License
Experience and skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
Practical knowledge of plants and irrigation
Excellent service delivery and feedback
Good communication with colleagues and internal contractors
Ability to supervise and manage landscaping teams/contractors
Making recommendations and planning of tasks
Writing of reports and costing of new projects
Ability to follow and implement management and inspection protocols
Proficient in using MS Office programs, internet and e-mail
Main Responsibilities:
Manage overall day to day maintenance of all aspects regarding landscaped areas
Be responsible for the operation of a landscaping contractor team
Regular inspections and reporting regarding all landscaping issues
Planning and scheduling of landscape maintenance tasks
Basic monthly salary of R10 000,00 plus medical insurance and provident fund benefits.
They will report directly to the Estate Manager who is responsible for maintaining the gardens and landscaping.
They are to live either in Franschhoek or Paarl area.
