Duties & Responsibilities
Delivery of accurate reports within prescribed timelines.
Prepare reports for the regulator (SARB, NCR and others).
Use accurate data in measuring various credit outputs and arrive at logical conclusions.
Monitoring and preparation of reports.
Facilitate effective liaison between Credit and other stakeholders.
Build / Collate required reports with correct and accurate data.
Review current business and process requirements.
Derive insights from data.
Recommend improvements based on related insights.
Assist with ad-hoc analytics.
Improve/automate processes/reporting.
Be able to present analysis to stakeholders in a meaningful manner.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor degree in Finance Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering or equivalent is essential.
Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Certification is desirable.
1-2 Years’ experience in developing business requirements reports and documents in a banking environment or financial sector is desirable.
1-2 Years’ experience in a Credit / Analytics environment in a similar role is desirable.
Proficient in MS Office is essential.
1 Year knowledge and basic understanding of banking is desirable.
2 Years’ knowledge of mathematical principles is essential.
1 Year understanding of statistical principles and methods is desirable.
2 Years’ ability to extrapolate data and provide predictive analysis reporting is essential.
